Patients’ lives depend on the quality operation of the devices monitoring and maintaining their wellbeing. The MicroSim Cardiac Output Simulator is a standalone instrument designed to simulate true cardiac output waveforms, which will help you ensure your devices are working the way they should be.
This device is ideal for testing the performance of Thermal Dilution Cardiac Output Monitoring systems. It simulates Baxter Edwards catheter systems and provides superior testing capabilities than devices that require a connection to another patient simulator.
The MicroSim COS’s resourcefulness comes from its ability to simulate four blood flow rates, two blood temperatures, and two injectate temperatures may be selected. A total of 32 normal curves and square waves are also available to the user.
It is a remarkably powerful device that’s simple to operate with its 4 tactile keys, and the LEDs clearly indicate the test being performed. A power-up self-test indicates that the instrument is performing properly, so you are assured that it’s doing what it’s meant to be doing.
